You can find a number of engg. institutes offering admissions based on the 12th score. It doesn't mean that you can get admission only on the basis of 12th marks. But your JEE score, your performance in the university tests etc are also the eligibility criteria. Some of the best institutes coming in this category are SRM, Lovely Professional University, VIT etc. Your good scores in JEE/ 12th/ university tests helps you to avail good amounts of scholarships too. There are some Private Universities which are very good. They provide good Infrastructure, Faculty and Placements.You should choose a college which give you opportunity to work in live projects and give you good exposure. They give admission to the students on the basis of their marks in Qualifying exams, marks in previous qualification and tests conducted by themselves. They also provide scholarship to their students on the basis of their marks. You may browse some web sites and check their details like Lovely Professional University, KIIT University, Nirma University etc...
