The CBSE has released the Class 10 Mathematics sample paper for the 2024-25 session with the current syllabus and exam pattern .

Here’s a format :

1. Exam Pattern :  exam is divided into sections .

Section A : 20 multiple choice questions , each 1 mark .

Section B : 5 short answer questions , each 2 marks .

Section C : 6 questions , each 3 marks with detailed solutions .

Section D : 4 long answer questions , each 5 marks , for conceptual understanding.

2. Top ics and Marks Distribution :

Number Systems : 6 marks

Algebra : 20 marks

Coordinate Geometry : 6 marks

Geometry : 15 marks

Trigonometry : 12 marks

Mensuration : 10 marks

Statistics and Probability : 11 marks

3. Internal Assessment :  20 marks including activities , tests and assignments conducted throughout the year .
