After Diploma in Electrical Engineering, you can get a jon however the job will be very low paying. You can go for engineering degree and you will get direct entry into the second year of engineering in BE. This is also a very good option and highly recommended to become a graduate engineer instead of remaining just a diploma holder.
However, if you don't want to study further or illing to do job for few years then Power generation, transmission and distribution, maintenance of electrical drives and control are some the potential area of employment for you and you can actuvely look for job matching your elgibility profile .Non-conventional energy sector is also an promising area for you
