Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is a government-aided institute and deemed university for the study and research of space science , located at Valiamala, Nedumangad Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It is the first university in Asia to be solely dedicated to the study and research of Outer space.
the entrance test to get admission in this college is merged in jee,there is no other examination.

The ISAT IIST was an entrance exam conducted for getting admission into Indian Institution of Space and Technology in the under graduation course of B.Tech. This exam was scrapped off in 2013-14 and so it is not in existence. The last batch which took admissions in the IIST on the basis of IIST ISAT was the batch of 2014.

For admissions in IIST to study courses of B.Tech Aerospace Engineering, B.Tech Avionics and 5 years Integrated courses, now the scores of JEE Advanced is taken into consideration.
