Biotechnology is diverse field and offers numerous opportunities in various fields.After pursuing B.Tech in Biotechnology you can work in Drug and pharmaceutical industries,Food processing sector,Bio-processing industries,Business Development,Chemical labs, Environment control and Waste management sector and so on.
Also it has lots of scope in future specially in research.You can apply for exams like CSIR NET / GATE and then you can get job in research institutes in India like National Brain Research Institute (NBRI), Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB), National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) and so on.
