Hello student,

All the engineering branches have physics and chemistry during 1st year. These subjects are very much similar to what you have studied in your 12th std.
Now coming to selection of branch, if you do not like physics you should avoid civil and mechanical branches. These branches have loads of concepts based on physics.
You can go for non core branches such as CS, IT , Instrumentation and ECE. If Coding and learning computer languages is your interest, you must choose CS or IT. ECE and Instrumentation engineering may have few chemistry related concepts.
All branches are very different to one another. Engineering subjects are not tough. All it takes is little concentration and will to learn. Even if you face problems, professors are there to help and guide you. You can always run to your friends and get your doubts cleared. Engineering is a beautiful journey, don't be afraid.
