Hello,
The eligibility criteria for BEd is passed graduation or post graduation in any relevant discipline from a recognized University securing 50%aggregate or above depending upon the norms of the university, admission process may be done through entrance tests such as DU BEd, CEE by NCERT, BHU UET etc, or it can be based on the merit of the qualifying examination,
you cannot apply for BEd if you have backlogs, if you're interested in pursuing teacher training course, then there is DEd or DElEd which is for a duration of two years based on 10+2 educational qualifications, however it's better you clear your backlogs and then pursue BEd, and only if you're interested in teaching at school level, BEd is compulsory, at university level you can qualify CSIR NET or UGC NET as applicable, or there are state level SETs conducted for recruitment of assistant professors.
