Hello,

490 is a low score if you want to get admission through All India Quota. On looking at the cut off marks for all the states under All India Quota, I found only one college i.e. government Medical College, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu which had a cut off 453 in 2018 for general category. The cut off marks change every year but still you might have a chance of getting admission in this college.

However, if you look for admission under state quota then you have higher chances to get admission in your state.

Good luck.

Hi,

490 is a less score for a govt Medical college for a Mbbs seat. If your score is above 550 you can have a government seat for sure. This year this marks may become greater than the previous years. Don't get disheartened. Wait for the results and see what they offer you. Keep calm and wait for a good result.

Good luck!
