Overall IIST is a good place to gain knowledge along with extra curricular activities. It has a lush green campus of approx 70 acres. Mentors are well behaved. It is quite distant from city but it doesnt matter when you are getting such facilities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tution fees is Rs.60,000/year and other facility charges are aplrox Rs.30,000/- It seems to be expensive first but it is not when one experience the facilities and education at IIST. It covers uniform and bus charges inclusive.

Placement Wing


Placements in IIST are Handled by Mr. A.S. Kittur, A well known and experienced placement officer (Germany Return). Placements have been done in well known MNC's like TCS, INFOSYS,BRIDGESTONE, CAPGEMINI, Etc

Alumni

Alumni network helps a lot for right career. Alumni meet done every year so that seniors can interact with juniors and can suggest them what should they do to be industry ready and to be selected in MNC's.

Faculty


Faculties are well educated and experienced and also teaching is upto the new techniques. Doubts are cleared in class as well as extra doubt classes are also arranged. They put extra efforts on weak students.

Campus Life

Labs are well settled for all the departments and practical have been done and every single doubt is solved by faculties. IIST has sports complex above canteen where indoor games are available. They also provide essentials for outdoor games and every year sports fest done in december.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is best as i experienced it. It is best because of best faculty members and best management team. Director General is Retired IRS Officer, He also took sessions to interact with students. As IIST is affiliated to RGPV so exam are conducted by RGPV.

College Events

Annual Event celebrated every year in the month of february. The event name is DAZZLE. It gives opportunity to students to show their talents of dancing, singing and volunteering. I also coordinated many events in Dazzle.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Scholarships given to meritorious students on the basis of their performance in 12th & Entrance Exam. Loan has been sanctioned through any bank and DD can be submitted to pay the fees. Cummins scholarship programs done every year.
