On the other hand, a PhD in psychology enables a student to conduct their research and provide services to institutions/individuals/businesses etc.

As for your question, there are numerous colleges in India that offer PhD in Psychology, but not nearly as many that offer Psy.D. However, some of the institutions in India that offer Psy.D include:-

• NIMHANS (National institute of mental health and neuro sciences)
• Central institute of Psychiatry (note: CIP offers PhD in clinical psychology which is very similar to Pay.D)
• Sweekar Academy of Rehabilitation Sciences
• Amity University
