Hello Surendra,

I feel CSE is better than CSE(with specialisation) branches. In VIT there are 2 specialisation branches in CSE(Information security and Bioinformatics). If you take CSE it is a core branch and you will learn every bit related to it.You will gain knowledge of designing, implementation and management of information systems of software and hardware and much more.Whereas when you take specialisation branches it becomes a sub division.Your 4 years of study will be fully focussed on that.Only if you are well versed or if you have keen interest in pursuing that opt that course.CSE(Information security )  deals with the security related issues of data transfer. It mainly deals with cyber security principles and networking. When we talk about bioinformatics it is a research oriented branch, but most of the students get placed only in software companies. There are good opportunities and packages for specialisation branches but they are limited. So choose your branch wisely.

Hope this helps.

ALL THE BEST.
