Hi there :)
Hope you're doing well.

I'll advise you First prepare for the mains properly and completely.
It's true that there's lot difference between jee mains and jee advanced, but if you do a great preperation of mains only then you can get a good understanding of advanced and make your AIR.
So I'll tell you the complete strategy for the preparation of mains.
You need to study atleast around 10hrs daily for a very good rank in JEE.

Here I am going to mention full strategy to achieve good score in JEE , and for sure you'll achieve your goal and get admission into your dream college :))
Here are mainly three ways to get total grip on jee.
1. Academics
2. Practice
3. Exam facing skills and Time management
I'll also mentioned some books for you , so that you can score better.

NCERT Books: you need to read the NCERT books completely. You strongly need to have a perfect grip on conceptual/academics part. In the jee main there aren't asked that tough questions as compared to jee advanced, academics covers a major portion in JEE main.
See having a strong grip on concepts is always going to help you, when you start preparing at the JEE level.

PREVIOUS YEAR PAPER: After all these books, it would be best if you do solve the previous year paper. You have already got a lot stronger at your concepts and question solving without noticing. So it will be best if you can get familiar with the previously asked questions.

MOCK SERIES: Here comes the final and master stroke, you need to give mock series as much as you can to get a practice of a lot of questions before the exam.

BOOKS :- you need some books after completion of your NCERT books for reaching the JEE level. So these are the books which i used and i recommend.
Math: Arihant and Cengage Publication, KC Sinha, ML Khanna, RD Sharma objective
Physics: NCERT, Resnick Halliday, HC Verma, DC Pandey
Chemistry: NCERT, NCERT exemplar, OP Tondan.

*Note - Make sure of making a time management chart before starting your preparation (not 1 month before exam).

Now comes the JEE ADVANCED,
If you've completed study of JEE mains then jee advanced isn't that hard as you're thinking,
All you need to do is practice, as much as you can from maximum sources you have , whether it is coaching modules, DPPs, mock series etc.

Remember if you have a good strategy for the jee then it's not necessary to have a coaching for making your AIR.
you can do it by your own and your hard work.

I'm giving you some names of the books which are must for the jee advanced.

Best of your work !
