The eligibility criteria for IELTS iscandidates need to be above 16 years, andhave a valid passport. There is no such educational qualification or aggregate for that matter, IELTS is of two types, one for academic purpose and another is for work purpose/migration,one is for academic purpose like for pursuing higher studies in an English speaking country and another one is general training which is mainly for work purpose or migration, IELTS is basically to test the proficiency of candidate in English language in speaking, listening, writing, reading.
