.Getting into Armed Forces Medical College Admissions
For MBBS program- NEET + ToELR + Psychological Assessment Test + Interview
.Candidates seeking admission to Armed Forces Medical College must qualify National Eligibility Cum Entrance (NEET 2017) conducted by CBSE. It is necessary for a candidate to qualify NEET 2017 to become eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS programs.
. Eligibility criteria AFMC MBBS admissions
•The candidate applying for admission to AFMC must be an Indian National.
•The candidate must have completed 17 years of age as or on December 31, 2017
•The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in first attempt with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and securing not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in these 3 science subjects taken together. Additionally, he/she must have passed class Mathematics exam in class 10th
•The candidate must have secured at least 60% aggregate in Class 12th.
.Admission procedure AFMC
Admission at AFMC is strictly based on the merit basis of performance of candidates in NEET, ToELR, Psychological Assessment Test and Interview.
The candidates shortlisted at the final stage of admission process are called for admission. The verification of documents of desired candidates is conducted at the time of admission.
.MBBS admission at AFMC is conducted in two stages.
Stage 1 - Firstly, candidates are shortlisted for ToELR on the basis of NEET 2017 scores. The candidates are then called for Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning. ToELR is an online test consisting of 40 MCQs to be attempted in 30 minutes. Each question is of 2 marks and there’s a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect response. The marks obtained in ToELR is added to NEET 2017 score and then divided by 4 to get the written examination score out of 200.
Stage 2- Second stage of the admission process comprises of psychometric test and interview. This test is of 50 marks. The final AFMC MBBS 2016 merit list is based on the total score obtained in both the stages.

Admission in AFMC, Pune is done on the baisis of your NEET scores only. You need to fill an application form for admission in AFMC Pune to be Eligible for counselling. The candidates who qualify their set cut off from the applicants be called for a comprehensive test of English language and logical reasoning, and personal interview along with medical test. The cut off last year was 551 marks for both boys and girls in 2018. In 2017 the cut off was 570 marks for boys and 600 for girls.
