please tell me about AME CET exam

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is a course related to maintenance and repair of aircrafts, inspection of the aircrafts and make required changes. AME has to check the aircraft and sign the Certificate only then a pilot is allowed to take off the flight.There are two programs under this
- A Program: The duration of this course is 2 years.In first year it is an academic program on the campus and in second year there will be training with live environment in Airlines, MRO organizations, etc. Candidates will be given stipend during this training.Once the course is completed candidate can apply for the license. The license is issued by DGCA, Govt. of India.
- B Program : The duration of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course is 4 years. First 2 years is academic program and next 2 years will be practical training. The academic knowledge will be gathered at DGCA approved AME institute and live training will be held in flying environment such as Airlines, MRO, etc. Candidates will get the stipend during this training. On completion of the modules and practical training license will be issued by DGCA. The licensed AME can work in private or government sector in India and Abroad.
The various work opportunities after completion of these course are avaiation training centers, civil defence forces, flying clubs, aircraft parts manufacturing companies, Maintanence, repair and overhauls industries, airlines etc.
You need to clear the AME CET to get admission.AME CET exam consists of 90 MCQs and the questions will be asked on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded for an incorrect answer 1 mark will be deduced.The exam will be conducted in offline and online mode.Exam paper will be available in Hindi and English.
