Hello Abubakar,

So basically, BCA is bachelor in computer application which is a course joined by the students after completion of 10+2. This course has a duration of 3 years with 6 semester which means that every year has 2 semester exams. It has all computer related subjects like programming languages, databases etc.

The eligibility criteria for this course is:

1. You should pass your 10+2 class with atleast 50% marks.
2. You should be a citizen of India.
3. Your age limit should be 17-25 years.
4. Each institute has their own way of selection. It can be either based on personal interview or entrance exams.

There's a lot of scope in BCA. You can either choose to go for higher studies which is MCA or you can get yourself a job. IT students are more in demand. Also, the minimum job package starts from Rs.25,000 upto Rs.40,000 per month.
