Good to see that you Aspire to become an IAS officer or if not then also ok. I want to tell you that to become a IAS officer you have to clear civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC nationwide in India for the recruitment to higher civil services of the Government of India including the Indian Administrative Service Indian Foreign Services and also Indian police service.
The examination is of three stages- first one is preliminary examination second is mains and third is interview and the candidate who clear these three stages and got their name in the merit list are called for training and then they are gets allocated to various cadre in the government.
For syllabus you can refer to the UPSC CSE website there you can find all the details about the examination that which subject came what topics you should study in different different stages.

UPSC civil services examination is the examination through which one can get into services like IAS, IPS, IFS etc.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
UPSC eligibility criteria is provided below:-
******** You must have a bachelor's degree in any, discipline from a recognised university.
******** Minimum age limit :- you need to be at least 21 years old to be eligible as on 1st of August of the year of filling the form i. e as on 1st August 2021 for UPSC 2021.
******** Maximum age limit :- 32 years , also there's 3 year relaxation on upper age limit for obc and of 5 years for sc/st category.
********Attempt limit:- The maximum of times one can appear in UPSC is given below category wise :-

The compulsory indian language and english are qualifying in nature . You just need to qualify them. The marks obtained by you in these two papers will not be counted towards merit list.
