NEET UG stands for National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (Undergraduate) and it is a gateway for all the medicine courses in the country like
The exam is held annually in offline mode. The paper consists of multiple choice questions from 4 subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, 50 questions from each out of which 45 from each subject are to be attempted by the candidate. The syllabus of the same is majorly the NCERT books of Physics, Chemistry, Biology of class 11 and 12.
The eligibility for the exam is as mentioned below:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2021.
The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2021 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects
UR - 50%,
OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
PWD - 45%
There are no restrictions on the maximum NEET attempt limit

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [ NEET (UG) – 2021] was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, the 12 September 2021 in Pen and Paper mode in 13 different languages.
It is a single uniform examination for various medical fields::
Result of NEET (UG) - 2021 is utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The result data is also utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules.
The NEET rank card results can be used for admissions to BVSc & AH courses under the 15% quota reservation of VCI in recognized Veterinary Colleges.
The NEET rank card provides AIR( ALL INDIA RANK)/ MERIT LIST for MBBS/BDS Including other following categories::
a) 15% seats All India Quota, b) 100% seats of Central Institutions (including 85% State quota seats) of ABVIMS & RML Hospital/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/ Central Universities (including DU/ BHU /AMU, c) 100% seats of AIIMS/ JIPMER/Deemed Universities, d) ESIC (IP quota seats)

Neet UG is a National level entrance examination and the single entrance examination by qualifying which you can get admission in all the medical colleges be it private or government including AIIMS and JIPMER for
MBBS
BDS
Ayush courses( Ayurveda i. e BAMS , Unani i.e B. U. M. S, Siddha i. e BSMS, and Homeopathy i.e BHMS ) and
veterinary i. e BVSc. ( for BVsc some states also have their own entrance like RPVT in Rajasthan for state quota seats, for all india quota bvsc seats offered through AIPVT counselling, neet is the only gateway).
---------------------------) Eligibility criteria :-
----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet ug eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.
†††Important Note :- Students with Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement over it.
-----------) Percentage required :- You must get
at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc
at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
-----------) Age limit :-
Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .
Upper age limit :-The upper age limit is 25 years as on the date of neet examination and there's relaxation of 5 years for obc ncl/SC/ST /PwBD students means upper age limit is 30 years for these categories.
†††† But since 2018, the case of upper age limit is pending in supreme court , and so there's no upper age limit as of now until supreme court gives its judgement over it.
-----------) There's no attempt limit for neet.
