The world is always in need of women engineers and hence the placement graph never goes too low here. Where would you find female mechanical engineers in the world?! The packages are good. Some are even better than DTU (specifically CS). Mechanical has seen a placement of 8lacs p.a. and the average comes around 5lacs (this was around 6 years ago and its bound to improve every year) which is good as a starting salary in this field.
