BCA Stands for Bachelors in Computer Application. With the rise of technology and the age of computation prevailing, this degree has a lot of value. It has in-depth knowledge about all the computer applications and functioning of computers.

Candidates who wish to pursue BCA course must fulfill the below mentioned general eligibility criteria -

· Pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board of education.

· English as a subject of study.

· A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level.

Some colleges prefer students from Science stream or those who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level but this differs from college to college.

BCA course is open for students who have qualified Higher secondary examination with a minimum of 45% marks. The course is usually divided into six semesters and admission to the same is generally done through CET conducted by respective institutes.

The average tuition fee for BCA Course in India ranges from INR 1.5 Lacs to 6 Lacs for three years and average monthly salary offered to any BCA graduate ranges between INR 20,000 to 25,000.

For being admitted in BCA you have to give BCA entrance exam which has topics in syllabus like reasoning ability, aptitude, maths, knowledge about computer programming, etc. You can check out the syllabus from internet.
