Hi there you have actually asked two questions -

Your first question is - Information about IAS officer and Second is Salary of IAS officer.

First question - An IAS officer is a person who has qualified the UPSC IAS exam successfully. IAS is one of the toughest exams in India and qualifying the exam makes you eligible to hold the premier posts like District Magistrate, Collector, Scale 1 Officer and other Group A level jobs.

Now your second question - After qualifying becoming an IAS, you are entitled to a lot of benefits and perks. One of them is a salary which is Rs. 56,100 and can go up to Rs. 2,500,00 for a Cabinet Secretary.
