please tell me syllabus of aiims paramedical exam

Hello Komal,

The syllabus of AIIMS paramedical exam is quite vast becuase of the various streams it covers.  The general standard of each entrance examination will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 scheme or an equivalent examination of an Indian University/board. Aiims has not prescribed a syllabus for the the Aiims Paramedical exam 2019.

Paper pattern is as follows:

For M.sc./ M.Biotechnology Courses:-

The question paper fot M.sc. and M. Biotechnology courses will be of 90 minutes duration consisting of 90 multiple choice questions carrying 90 marks in the subject in which the candidate has applied.

M.Sc. Nursing ciurses:-

the question paper for nursing courses  will be of 90 minutes time and will cinsist of 90 multiple choice questions carrying 90 marks.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing( this is common to all):-

One paper of 2 hours duration and consisiting of four parts consisiting of objective type, multiple choice type of questions, with marks distribution as follows:

1) Physics - 30 marks

2) biology- 30 marks

3) chemistry - 30 marks

4) general knowledge - 10 marks ,  total = 100 marks

B.sc. Nursing ( post certificate):-

1) the examination will be held in Delhi, and in English language only

2) the selection of candidates will be made on a 2- stage performance evaluation as under:

Stage 1 is the written test. Candidate  will appear for an entrance examination  which will be written test of 90 minutes duration consisting of  one paper containing 70 objective type question(MCQ) in the subject of fundamentals of nursing, medical surgical nursing including anatomy, physiology and pharmacology, obstetrics nursing and midwifery, paeditric nursing, community health nursing , phychiatric nursing and professional trends in nursing.

Stage 2 is personal assessment/ interview.On the basis of the merit list of marks based on stage 1, candidate three times the number of seats will be invited for personal assessment by selection committee. if required number of SC/ST candidates are not available, then candidates belonging to SC and ST taken together will be invited. In case candidates belonging to reserved class are not available then candidayes from general category will propotinally increase.

Marking scheme:

Assessment will be awarded out of 30. the following factors will be considered at the time of personal assessment-

Past academic perforamnce in 10 and 10+2 or equivalent examination, past attainment in nursing examination, performance as staff nurse. Admission will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by candidates in Stage 1 and Stage 2. in case of two or more candidates having a tie, their merit will be considered in the order of preferance stated below:

1) Candidates securing higher marks in written test ( Stsge 1)

2) Candidates older in age to be preffered.

There will be negative marking as well. Each correct answer will reward you wil +1 marks and one wrong answer will deduct 1/3 marks. no marks will be awarded for unanswered question. one than one response for one question will result in marks deduction.
