Hi Usha,
Integrated (BTech+MTech) is a new program at SCIS UOH, it was started from 2014. This is one of the challenging course structure. It's a good mixture of basic and advanced computer science topics. If you could not get into better nits, i would suggest taking up this integrate course it is totally worth it. If you work regularly and follow the course, you would better than most of the students in the NITs.
Placements are always individual affairs, if you do have caliber and prove yourself at the department, there are people in department who can help you in reaching your dream company. Besides every year, decent number of product companies visit campus. I would suggest do not worry about placements, concentrate on the courses and grab the internships at IITS and product companies. Your hard work will take care of the placements.
Exposure might be little less compared to NITS, as the alumini is not very strong. Every Friday it had research seminars from industry experts and other interesting engagements, do participate in them.
The placements are individual based, so how good one is determines the placements to a large extent.
The degree is better than an NIT, but not really as good as many IITs.
The campus life is really good, students are given lots of freedom. You are free to go out and come back at any time, as long as you have your ID. Libraries are open on all working days till 7pm and near the exam, this timing is increased to 10pm. The faculty is very friendly and approachable.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
