Government medical college, Chandigarh was established in 1991.It is located in sector 32B and its campus spreads over 36 acres of land
It provides courses like MBBS as well as MD/MS in a number of medical and surgical courses.
The total number of UG MBBS seat are a 100.
It is affiliated to the Punjab university and has got the MCI recognition.
