Pls describe about the amrita bangalore boys hostels?
Dear aspirant,
The first year hostels are quite good to be honest except for the part where you have to clean the rooms,bathrooms yourself whenever the warden asks you to do so.Anyhow you’ll get used to it.Drinking water is available 24X7 and is available as hot,cold,normal.WiFi Facility is available in first year hostels and the speed is quite good.Social Networking and video streaming sites are blocked during class hours.Certain websites are blocked for good.
Cellphones are aren't allowed in the Ashram for girls and guys.
2nd year onwards the cellphone rules become slightly relaxed for girls and even more for guys.1st Year, you'll be in the Ashram.
Guys - Small rooms with bunk beds and attached washroom.
Girls - Same
2nd Year onwards, you'll be across the back water on the same side as the Engineering Building.
Guys - Bigger Rooms with single beds but common washrooms.
Girls - Bigger Rooms with single beds and attached washrooms.
The Mess food is not that good though butimproved over the years , but still many restaurants are within the vicinity of the campus and food is available at pocket money rates.
