Candidates must have completed Class 12 in the Science stream with 50% to 60% overall in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects in order to be eligible to enroll in the BAMS course. Admission to the BAMS programme requires passing the NEET as well. BAMS courses only accept the NEET scores. The annual BAMS course fees range from INR 20,000 to INR 3,00,000. Popular universities like Parul University, BHU, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research, etc. are among those that provide BAMS courses.

There are different fee structure for different colleges and state usually the BAMS fees are as follows
Government colleges: Fees typically range from INR 10,000 to INR 30,000 per year.
Private colleges: The overall course fee for 4.5 years begins at 12 lakhs
In which there are certain fee concession to SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, VJNT, EWS category students.
