Hi Greetings

If you just want to clear JEE main then it is not very hard to clear it but the fact is that most of the people online preparation but still want to clear JEE main try to attempt  more question in order that there guess estimate work and can get more marks but it has been found over the time that it will not work the better strategy for this would be to attempt only those questions in which you are hundred percent sure.

In the first strategy where you attempt all the questions based on your guess and some on the elimination method then the time you give per question is also reduced and there are quite a good chances that it will end up in negative marking while if you apply II strategy in which you attempt only selected question then it will not only increase the time given to per question but also avoid the negative marking therefore apart from studying the attempting a paper is also a skill and if you are good at the scale of appearing for the exam then with limited knowledge you have you can clear the exam.

Right now you need to work upon two factors one is how to study in the best way possible to gain maximum benefit of it and also how to appear for the exam.

1. For studies you should only focus on the topics which are important for the jee main  for  instance there are some topics which may be interesting to you and if you go deep into it then it will only consume your time but will not be beneficial for JEE main, since right now you are not studying for any research your only studying to get into the college therefore I think apart from gaining knowledge you should also learn the art of studying keeping in mind the exam.  The best thing for this is to make a list of important topics in which questions come repeatedly in the jee exams and in similar exams and give more attention to those topics and practice a lot of problems based on them. There are students who dedicate a lot of time in solving the same kind of problems which is not at all beneficial ,For instance if you are solving a question from a book then there may be hundreds of questions but if you went on attempting all the questions then no doubt it will help in somewhere but also it is taking lot of your time so what you need to do is out of doors hundred questions make selection of the questions you may take at least 10 minutes but this 10 minutes will save your lot of times this way it will not only help in saving the time but in the limited time you will be able to solve all the different types of problens. Also there is not a same way to study all the three subjects mathematics required some different is strategy while chemistry require some therefore you need to prepare your own strategy which is best for the particular subject for example if you are studying chemistry then there is no need to attempt lot of MCQ questions instead you can just look at the answer of those MCQ question because it is more like remembering but it is not only that you just remember all them secured not attempt them because there are many problems in inorganic chemistry where you need to find number of lone pairs of the structure of a compound in which if you practise more then you can see how much you have progressed.which is most important is making a progress report daily which will tell you how did you utilise the whole day also you can dividethe time available to you in different slots and study different subjects in those Times.

2.If you are done with studies then it is time to appear for the exam yes I have mentioned already that there is no need to attend all the questions since you have studied a lot and mainly which is the specific to JEE main and therefore now it's time to target the questions in which you are very much comfortable therefore you can make a selection of questions which you need to attempt and if you find it difficult than at least make selection of those question which are difficult and you are not going to attempt them in the first time because this type of questions only consume your time and at last it may result in negative mark therefore the best strategy is to first attend the simplest question from the whole paper and while appearing for the exam don't do it in a hurry because after 2 hours you will find a lot of time therefore in the initial you can take at least 10 minutes to go through the paper completely so that you don't rush and later you find some difficult or easy question at the end.

Hope this helps

All the best

Look at the past 5 years of JEE main questions and find the questions which are similar and community here for example there is a question on mathematical reasoning which you can solve by two table there is a question on limit which comes every year based on trigonometric limits so this type of questions you can look at the previous years paper and find it will be better if you find because it will help you in analysing the pattern.
