Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka, New Delhi has launched a master of business administration programme in hospitality management.

Graduates with 50 per cent marks are eligible to apply for the course. Selection of students will be done through a common entrance test. The cost of the programme is Rs 75,000 per annum. After completion of the course graduates can expect a salary from anything between Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh per annum. A strong academic background can help graduates to manage a hotel and depute daily duties to staff.

Placements : Maximum students are placed into hospitals and healthcare organisations. A few students from our batch placed in hospitals and other in healthcare organisations. A few students have their pre-placement offers with them since the 3rd semester starting. 100% placements for our seniors and maximum got placed in hospitals. The highest salary offered to our seniors was 5 lakhs per annum from Henry Ford. The maximum package offered to our class till date is 3.5 lakhs per annum. Managerial roles were offered to the students from MBA HHM. 90% students got internships from the college. No stipend offered for healthcare students.

Infrastructure : Well-developed facilities with Wi-Fi, labs, medical facility, sports and games too. The quality of labs and classrooms is good. The food quality available on the campus is hygienic. Hostel rooms are also in good condition. No problems faced during my tenure at the college.

Faculty : The experience with faculty members is good. They are helpful, well-qualified and they are always ready to help students. All of them appointed on our campus are well qualified with good knowledge. And good teaching skills. Teaching method used is presentation method. Faculty members use PPT in the class for students. Students can approach faculty members at any time during the academic hours in their cabin also. The number of faculty members is good on the campus at 3500+. The ratio of student to faculty is 2:1. Not sure about industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful for the future orientation
