240 out of 300 marks in JEE Main is an excellent performance. You have a good aim. If you can score 240 marks, then you will have 99+ percentile, and can get any branch in any NITs, IIITs and other colleges.
Now coming to your query, scoring 240 marks is not that easy. You cannot leave any chapter unattended. MHRD has reduced the JEE Main syllabus for 2021. You can go through the article for more information:
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/will-jee-main-syllabus-be-reduced
Here you will find the reduced syllabus. All topics of physics, chemistry and mathematics are mentioned clearly.
You need to study each and every chapter thoroughly because you never know from where questions would come from. Start studying from now, utilise your time. Complete the NCERT as first. Keep atleast 2months in hand for revision. Prepare daily, and solve model question papers everyday. You be able to solve the previous year question papers after a few months, and should solve them atleast twice.
You can get an idea of the "marks vs rank" by using the JEE Main 2020 rank predictor tool. The link is given below:
The "marks vs rank" changes every year but you can get an idea, which may help you in your preparation.
Hope this answer helps you.
