National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducted NCHM JEE for admissions to undergraduate programmes offered at participating institutes. Through NCHM JEE, candidates are offered admissions to Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration - Generic and Specialisation.

It is conducted in offline mode. Through NCHM JEE, 55 institutes of hotel management including 21 Central, 19 State Government and 15 private institutes offering as many as 8124 seats of UG programmes.

Exam Pattern

The national level entrance exam carried 200 objective type questions for one mark each.

Negative Marking : 0.25 marks deducted in case of each wrong attempt.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 qualifying examination from any state or national board of education

• Candidates must have passed English as a core subject under 10+2 education pattern in the qualifying examination

• General and OBC category candidates must not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1 of year of admission

• Reserved category candidates are provided age relaxation of up to three years i.e. they should not be more than 25 years of age

• Candidates qualified General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination at Advanced (A) level (London/ Cambridge/ Srilanka) are also eligible

• Candidates need to have passed Senior Secondary Examination from National Open School with minimum five subjects with English as a core subject can also apply for NCHM JEE.
