As now, there is only near about 2 months are left for jee mains, then you should focus more on the practices and daily tests.
Now, at the last time if you open the book then all chapter will start looking important.
And, in jee mains, all the chapters are really important.
So, according to me give the test series regularly and practice those questions which you are not able to solve and study those topics in which you had made mistake. Also you should practice the past 10 yrs jee mains question paper in real time to know the depth of your preparation (atleast 5 times). Because this is the best t you can do. At last times you must strengthen your concepts and revise by practicing questions regularly.
Still some of the important chapters for jee mains are :-
Physics :-
Magnetic induction
Friction
SHM
Waves and Doppler effect ( including beats )
Electrostatics
Fluids mechanics
ROTATION
Chemistry :-
Physical chemistry :-
Chemical equilibrium
Solid state
Liquid solution
Atomic structure and mole concept
Electrochemistry
Inorganic chemistry :-
For inorganic chemistry the every line of ncert book is important. Because in jee mains many times the questions are directly framed with the lines or egs or exceptions of inorganic chemistry given in ncert book.
Important chapters are - periodic table, metallurgy and block chemistry.
Organic chemistry - the whole organic chemistry is important.
Mathematics :-
Trigonometry
Calculus ( whole )
Vectors and 3d geometry
Height and distances
Mathematical reasoning ( 1 question is sure from this chapter )
Coordinate geometry.
So, these are some important chapters from jee mains point of view.
Hello Aspirant,
Looking into the past year JEE Main question papers, it can be noted that there are some topics which have higher weightage over the others. All such topics with weightage can be taken as the most important chapters of JEE Main 2021 and must be studied thoroughly to get an extra edge over the exam preparation.
You must refer to past year papers to get an exact idea about the overall exam structure. The following are important topics for each of the three subjects:
- Physics-Rotational Motion, Thermodynamics, HM, Electrostatics, Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics
- Mathematics- Complex Number, Conic Section, Circle, Calculus, Vector & 3 D, Probability, Trigonometric Equation, Properties of Triangles, Quadratic Equation, Sequence and Series, Permutations and combination
-
Chemistry- Chemical bonding, Electrochemistry, Coordination compound,
Salt analysis, Ionic equilibrium, Thermodynamics & thermochemistry, Aldehydes and ketones, Aromatic hydrocarbons, GOC isomerism, Liquid solutions, Alkyl halides and aryl halides
To prepare effectively:
- Formulate a study plan. It helps you to organize all the topics that have to be covered. Use a digital calendar and assign a topic based on the number of hours you can spare. Study for at least 8 hours a day. Assign one complicated topic and one easy topic. Include topics from Mathematics in everyday studies. Solve Physics problems every day.
- NCERT books are the God of textbooks for JEE preparation. Apart from NCERT textbooks, refer to prescribed standard textbooks. Physics- Concepts of Physics by H.C Verma, Mathematics- Problems Plus in IIT Mathematics by A Das Gupta, Chemistry- Arihant master resource book for JEE
- Solve previous years’ papers and attend mock tests regularly once a fortnight. By giving mock tests, you will get familiarized with the IIT JEE exam pattern, helps you to manage time, can improve your speed and accuracy, helps you to understand the level of learning
- Know at which part of the day you are active and study at that time as it helps to concentrate more and helps you to retain it better.
- Smart work is also important when you prepare for IIT JEE: Mind maps for Mathematics, Block diagrams for Physics, Flow charts for Chemistry
Hope this helps you. Feel free to ask more questions.
Have a good day!!
Dear student,
It is very difficult to get 200+ marks in JEE Mains within one and half month. But if you prepare well with full determination, then you can reach around 150-160. So, for this you need a proper strategy. Make a proper study time table, and study for at least 8-9 hours a day. Start from NCERT books, and read them thoroughlly.
Solve previous year papers to get a good score in the exam. Solve mock tests. Below I have provided a link. You can check some very important chapters for each of three subjects here for both 11th and 12th class .
Hope it helps.
