Two major universities for Lateral entry in Engineering program in Delhi would be:

• Delhi Technological University: It takes lateral entry admission on the basis of an entrance test;  Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET). To which one needs to qualify the exam whose application starts in May every year and you should have minimum 60% in your Diploma. For more information, follow; DTU (http://dtu.ac.in/)
• Indraprashtha University (GGSIPU): One of the widely spread state university of Delhi. It offers lateral entry into various programs and colleges under GGSIPU, for admissions into it's BTech program after Diploma, one needs to apply for an entrance test; IPU CET, whose notification is out in the month of April-May.
