Not all NITs have good placements as far as Civil Engineering is concerned. You may be assured of Good Placements as far as the Top 5-6 NITs are concerned, like Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Calicut, Allahabad as well as others like Nagpur, Jaipur, Jamshedpur and Rourkela. Some of the Top Recruiters being L&T, Tata Projects, Unitech, Aarti Industries, Tata Consulting Engineers and many others. However, most of the M.Tech Civil Students aspire Public Sector PSU Jobs in Civil Engineering through GATE as well as many appear for the Indian Engineering Services ESE Exam besides Preparing for Other Government Examinations.
