Plz suggest me what I can do after bsc agriculture. Jobs posts after and further study plans,tell me how to join fci after bsc agri.

There are many options for BSc agriculture graduate. One can go for research, teaching, jobs etc.

Here are the lists:-

  • Competitive exams- They can appear in exams like UPSC, Banking, SSC, defence. There are exclusive exams for agriculture only such as IBPS AO,  FCI, AIC, IIFCO, NSCI


  • campus placement- many companies visit the campus for recruitment.


  • Jobs in teaching- if one is passionate about teaching can go for teaching in schools, colleges or universities


  • Research and development- agriculture research scientist provide various research and posts in the government and private sector.


  • Entrepreneur- you can be self-employed by opening dairy farming, rabbit farming or any other production or farming


  • Government jobs- agriculture trainer in many fields. Eg- IFFCO


  • Jobs in the bank- you can become field officer, junior agriculture associate, rural development officer etc.




You can apply for FCI as you are pursuing Bsc agriculture so you are eligible for the exam.

You can appear in FCI 2020. Exams will probably in May or June 1st weak. There is no fixed date announced.

You can go for Post graduation. Write the ICAR JRF exam. Secure a rank and you have ample no. Of subjects to choose from.

You can apply for FCI jobs , just like most other govt. Jobs. Google it up and their websites. FCI releases a notification of 4103 vacancies this year. You will get the total information in their website- about the reg. Date, examination date etc.
