    Hello dear..

    The conversion of cgpa to percentage varies from Institute to institute. For example, I completed my B.Tech in a government institute in odisha. After graduating from there, I too had this issue of conversion of cgpa to percentage. Our Institute had the following formula for the conversion :

    Percentage = (CGPA -0.5)*10

    Then I completed my M.Tech from IIT. There the formula was different from the previous one. It was as follows :

    Percentage = CGPA *10

    Therefore just get it confirmed from your institute about this conversion formula.

    Mam in my college same procedure(  gpa-.5)*10 but i would like to ask what ia rule of psu .... becz they are saying u have 64 %... how i will calculate...

    Hello,

    it has to be 60 % , go for iit mtech study well top rank have awesome cgpa understandingconcepts well..pray that psu recruits mtechs also considers mtech marks only in placemnt season.however ur cgpa should be at any cost 6 atleast ..not sure whether any rules….only CIL NTPC BHEL takes openly 6 as 60% ….so u need at least 6 in ur degree irrespective of any formula.
