Hi Jayanti!

Greetings!

If you want to go for UPSC in future , objective Political Science by Sakir Alam is a good book. And if you want to know about politics and political system in India then you can go for Indian Polity by M.Laxmikanth.

For History, you can refer to History of India by R Krishna Reddy. Lucent GK book also have good stuff for History .Apart from this, Trueman, Arihant and McGrawhill publications also have good books.

Please upvote if this was helpful to you. Do comment for any other query.

Thank you and good luck.

Hello!

Ncert is best. You must read NCERT line by line for nice and better understanding though you can take help from side books for reference and MCQ questions which are:-

U- like

All in one

'Oswaal' and 'together with' for practice.

Good luck:)
