Tata Memorial Centre,a grant in aid institution of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India,Tata Memorial Hospital,Dr E Borges Road,Parel,Mumbai 400 012,has invited applications for admission to the 2 years Advance Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology recognized by Government of Maharashtra under Maharashtra state board of technical education-MSBTE.This is a comprehensive course with full time schedule of lectures,demonstrations, practical and clinical experience in the delivery of imaging technology.The course is designed to develop personnel to use modern radiology equipment like X-Ray,CT scan,MRI, Mammography and cathlab machines in hospital.The eligibility criteria to get in course is applicant should have passed BSc in any subject or should hold BPharm Degree.Those awaiting BSc result can also apply to submission of BSc results on the day of CET.The selection in this course will be based on the marks obtained in entrance examination which will have questions of HSC Standard from physics, chemistry and biology.The age of Applicant should be between 20 and 25 years.Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.Duration of the course is 2 years + 1 year mandatory internship.the degree will be awarded only after successful completion of the internship.This course will commence from October 2021 for the academic year 2021.Selected students will be covered under medical insurance facility provided by the institute on co-payment(20% of yearly premium)which is mandatory.
