Following subjects combinations are offered along with Political Science(Hons) in Burdwan Raj College, you have to choose any two:

• Bengali/Philosophy
• Bengali/Economics
• English/Philosphy
• English/Economics
• English/History
• Economics/Philosophy

The general structure of the course is there are two compulsory language papers, one is English and another one is Bengali/Alternative English(for those who don't have Bengali at 10+2 level), each carrying 50 marks.Then there is environmental studies which is compulsory having 50 marks in Part-III.

Two Elective paper selected in part-I will be of 100 marks each, in part-II will be of 200 marks each.

Honors paper is of 800 marks, in Part I it consists of 200 marks, in Part-II it consists of 200 marks and in Part-III, it consists of 400 marks.

You can choose any stream as per your interest.  Per year fees is Rs. 2610 which means for 3 years , it will be Rs. 7830. it will be a good option for you and affordable too.

College has good review for different factors and it is one of the oldest institute serving in India. admission will be based on students merit. if you have good percentage then you have high chance to get admission.
