Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling is a one year full-time diploma course imparting knowledge involves techniques and principles involved during counseling process, its eligibility criteria is passed bachelor's degree or master's degree from a recognized university securing 50% aggregate, admission process may be based on the merit of the qualifying examination, or it can be done through entrance tests, some of the top colleges offering the course are Goa University, Jamia Millia Islamia , Bishop Heber College, Government College for Education Psychology, Loyola College of Social Sciences to name a few. there are also distance learning option as offered by IGNOU, BRAOU, MP Bhoj University, Sikkim Manipal University, Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning etc.
