Correct Answer: INR 9,800
Solution : Let his total salary be Rs. $x$. Salary spent on children's education = $\frac{27x}{100}$ Salary donated to the trust = $\frac{4x}{100}$ According to the question, $\frac{27x}{100} + \frac{4x}{100} = 3038$ ⇒ $31x = 303800$ $\therefore x = 9800$ Hence, the correct answer is INR 9,800.
