Hello!

If you are taking NEET along with boards then put your full focus in boards, after board you should get back to 11th syllabus if you haven't practiced with it. But I would suggest you to work on as many mock papers possible. They will help you in figuring out parts where you should work more. Do practice mocks within the time do not exceed the time which gives you the idea in which part you should have more time, where you can work faster and to avoid the last minute chaos.

There are good books as well as websites to practice mock like embibe etc. Make sure you complete the concept works before February. Practice questions concept, chapter wise, when you feel like you are ready to take mock then go with it.

Incase if you are getting many answers wrong don't get panic and get upset, calm down then the next day take the paper analyse the mistake work on the concept again and then take mock the next day (do this in alternative days basis like if you take mocks on 1,3,5..... then correct the papers in days like 2,4,6....).

Make sure you use reference only after completing your school books.

Never ever give up your determination

ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.

Thank You

Hello Aspirant,

Before you start your NEET Preparation journey, you should realize few points:

  • Around 13 Lakh students appear for NEET every year
  • Determination, Dedication and Consistency will help you achieve your goals
  • You have to understand Class 11 and 12 NCERT very well
  • You have to stay confident and motivated till the last day of your exam.

Let’s discuss How should you prepare for NEET 2021 to get 650+

You have two years for NEET Preparation. Great. It can do wonders!

Step 1 - Decide: Do you want to join NEET Coaching Classes?

The purpose is to Understand Class 11 and 12 Topics.

Whether you do it by attending your classes sincerely in School or you join NEET Coaching Institute and take regular classes, the purpose is to study Class 11 and 12 syllabus properly. Understanding NCERT concepts and strong base will help you crack NEET with your targeted score.

Step 2 - Understand the value 650/720 & set goals

To score at least 650 out of 720 in NEET, you can set your target subject wise given as below.

  • Physics - 150 out of 180
  • Chemistry - 160 out of 180
  • Biology (Zoology+Botany) - 340 out of 360

Step 3- Make an Effective Study Plan + Routine

Most students make a timetable which they find difficult to follow. Depending on your ability to invest hours daily, make a proper study plan focusing on completing the NEET syllabus well in time of all the three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Start with most marks fetching chapters and give more time to understand tough ones. Also keep revising completed topics.

Step 4 - Know Strategy to Study effectively

Following a study plan, completing a syllabus on time and investing hours as per daily routine won’t help if you will not be studying effectively.
