Hello Aspirant,

If you are preparing for the competitive exams like NEET JEE or other exams then you will have to divide your time to study the concepts of both 1st and the present years running syllabus only if you are not so sure that you are perfect or you have understood the 1st year topics. If you have clear information and knowledge about the 1st year topics then i would suggest you to concentrate more on the running topics which your lecturers are teaching. Simultaneously, connect the basics from 1st year to the topics of 2nd year and study wisely. If you are not planning to participate in any of the competative exams then you can only study 2nd year syllabus.

I hope my answer would be useful.

All the best.
