    See the list that you have provided can be converted into preference order only once you have it clear in your mind that what you have to pursue. It is always a trade-off between what course to chose and what branch to take. My personal preference would be:

    NIT Surat Electrical
    IIIT Vadodara CS/IT
    IIIT Guwahati CS/ECE
    IIIT Bhopal

    My preference as of now considering college predictor, collge websites etc-IIITVadodra CS-->IIITG-CS->-->NIT Surat Electrical based on placements. All three there are chances for her to get.Then Followed by NIT Calicut and NIT Allahabad Mech. She has no specific Inclination toward any branch, No exposure as well. Preparing for Advance. No Location Constraint. Plan to do MBA in future. BITS her score is 230. May may get Chemical in Goa or Hyderabad. Then what should be her overall preference. No personal preference of her. We need to look in PG in MBA India or Abroad and/ or 2-3 Job after Btech. SO Placements, College Life and chances to study for future may pl be considerd. Accordingly guide me with reason for me to get convinced. After Advance resuly, we can club these with IITs.

    For 27163 Female Gujarat Please provide 5 higher and 5 lower branches/ colleges to be filled while counselling.

    NIT Surat Electrical Last year Cutoff was 33785 so most likely will get this . So I need better difficult options also to try luck
