Use Adobe photoshop to resize images and upload it will work.

After logging in you need to click on the second option on the left hand side under the "application Step Progress" Click on "View Scanned images" and the edit option should come.

If I may say so, over so many years since JEE Main started, many students have forgotten this and CBSE has not barred them for the exam. So dont worry about this. However since the rules specify the date beneath the photograph, pls follow the steps I have mentioned and edit the images.

Mind you I have also found that if the images are found to be Ok, the edit option may not work. We did try that:)

We wrote to JEE Main and the answer is as follows:

The "Remove Discrepancy in uploaded images" option will be enable for those candidate who received any message regarding discrepancy in images on their registered mobile number. In case you have not received any message but there is problem in your images then kindly send us your application number and details description of images to upload again

So Please send your application number and images to upload to jeemain@nic.in
