For taking admission in B.Tech in Biotechnology you have to appear in JEE exam. Yes ,maths is compulsory subject for B.tech biotechnology, but if you are Biology student you can go with Bsc (Hons.) Biotechnology which does not require maths as a compulsory subject. No with your NEET score you can not take admission in Biotechnology. All the Best.

Bachelors of Technology in Biotechnology which is commonly known as B.tech in Biotechnology is one of the best specializations in engineering courses. Most of the institutes and universities are providing admission on the basis of their performance in entrance exams conducted by them. There are some institutes avail direct admission on the basis of 10+2 marks. So you can either give entrance exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, VITEEE, SRMJEEE so on or you can get on the basis of your 10+2 level in some of the colleges.
