process of taking admission in mfa

MFA is a postgraduate course in the study of visual and performing arts. A candidate has to be a Bachelor of Fine Arts from a recognized university in order to be eligible for this course.
MFA (Masters of Fine Arts) is a two-year program and some colleges offer the course with a specialisation or give the candidate the freedom to choose a specialisation while doing the course. The course is completed over the duration of four semesters. The mode of admission is either through Entrance Examination or on the merit marks in qualifying examination followed by a personal interview .
Admission to MFA Degree programme is based on Entrance Exam and/or Merit marks in qualifying examination followed by a personal interview. Few colleges taking Entrance Exam for Fine Arts are Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith Varanasi and Aligarh Muslim University.

The eligibility criteria is to have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from any recognised University. It is a two year long course.
