As a Industrial and Production Engineering student I'll share my views. It really has good scope. Job opportunities are good both government sector and private sector. Only few colleges in India has this Branch in their under graduation program. It is combination of Mechanical Engineering and Production related things. It is a such branch of Mechanical Engineering. So you can take Production Engineering as their is good scope for it.
