You haven't mentioned which collage for knowing the salary of professors.

Generally a Professor or A.professor will have a salary of 20,00,0 and above if they are hired by the management.For this they have to clear the SET or NET exam.

Government salried professors have a salary of nearing 1 lakh and above.
