Pros and cons of Godavari institute of engineering and technology??

Godavari Institute of Engineering and technology, located in Rajahmundry, Andra Pradesh offers both UG and PG courses. There are 7 courses offered in B.Tech.
Pros:
- The college has decent infrastrucutre and facilities like gym, canteen, sports ground, good libraries etc.
- Placements are above average. It is better for branches like Computer Science, Electronics and Communications. Companies like TCS, Wipro etc. Average salary is 3-4 LPA.
- The teaching faculty is good and are supportive too. Though you can't expect very high quality of teaching, it does provide a good teaching.
Cons
- Branches such as mechanical engineering, civil engineering, biotechnology etc do not have good placements. Placements records are very low for such branches. Also, the number of students gettig placed is reducing gradually over a couple of years.
The college is better than other colleges around the place. So if you are looking to get admission in that location, it is indeed a better option.
