see since you are studying in iiit hyderabad, I can assure you that you will get an excellent placement as per previous years record, and if you have real passion for coding and really want to work in engineering field you will surely get the job suitable for you. see in india there is many opportunities in software engineering field rather than core engineering, and lastly if you have skills , you will surely get the right job, now you may see that tcs, wipro or cognizant like service based companies dont hire dual course  holders, but you dont need to worry, because there is many more reputed mnc in india which hires candidates based on skills and pays much better than service based companies, so work on your coding skill, your soft skills, you will surely get success.
